Plates clean but text rather spotted. Old stationers ticket on the endpaper and an inscription dated 1853. Scarce- only 2 copies listed on COPAC and no information about the publication is listed online.

Volume one dated 1796, volume two 1793, volume three undated and volume four dated 1793. 126, 126, 127 and 127 pages - plus advertisements leaf. Illustrated with 24 small engraved views of London plus two woodcuts in the text of Gog and Magog. A scarce, eighteenth century children's history of London- originally sold on a volume by volume basis.
